About Kashmir Crisis:
Kashmir has been a conflict zone for three decades but this latest conflict, including a 7 month-long lockdown, has taken a massive toll on local people's mental and physical health. Now with Eid coming, this Muslim-majority region is in a second lockdown due to Covid-19 - doubling the hardship of the poor. Daily wage earners can't feed their family. The lack of work, provisions and communication with their community has increased the distress for Muslim families.
It takes just $35 to provide food rations for one family for one month.
